Flip-up Power features 3 individually-fused main sockets. To comply with the BS 6396 office furniture installation standard., the fitted fuse is only 3.15A which is suitable for light-duty devices like monitors, laptops, dect phones, printers, scanners … if you are planning to use any heavy-duty devices like hair drier, vacuum cleaners, or kettle then you will have to change the fuse to 5A or 10A Ø5x20mm fuses. Note: the regular 13A fuses found in most wall sockets and plugs are too big.
The flip-up power also features 2x 2.4A fast USB charging sockets so you can charge digital devices such as tablets, cameras, smartphones There is also an RJ45 keystone and an HDMI keystone, offering a quick connection to network or AV source or display.
Flip-up Power Extension is supplied with a 0.5m GST tail cable, as well as a 2m starter cable to plug into a wall socket.
